Dr. Alan Mauser is a podiatrist who has been in practice in the Louisville area since 1985. With office locations in Louisville and Carrollton, he has been treating foot disorders from the common to the complex.
When he set up his podiatry practice in the summer of 1989 near the intersection of Bardstown and Taylorsville roads, Alan Mauser, DPM, had no idea that almost 30 years later he'd wind up with his feet so firmly planted in one spot. "It's kind of flown by," says Dr. Mauser. "I thought I'd outgrow the office, but it's been a great location."

Dr. Mauser is originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He is a 1979 graduate of Clark University and 1984 cum laude graduate of the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine). He completed his surgical residency program at the Humana Specialty Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Mauser has been in practice in Louisville since 1985.
Dr. Mauser is certified in foot and ankle surgery as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a member of the American and Kentucky Podiatric Medical Associations. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Mauser maintains his primary office location at 2525 Bardstown Road. A second office is located at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Kentucky.
Dr. Mauser lives and raised his four children in Louisville: Nathan, Rachel, Joshua, and David.
Demetria has been Dr. Mauser's office manager for 14+ years. She has been in the medical field for over 22 years working with a multitude of specialties and finding her home with Podiatry and Dr. Mauser.

After graduating high school in 2001, Tara was unsure what to do when she “grew up”. She started working part time, to balance the needs of caring for her daughter and getting out of the house. She acquired a LMR (Limited Medical Radiography) certification, allowing her to take X-rays in doctor office settings, in 2011 and graduated from Spencerian in 2012. She started work at Louisville Podiatry as a medical assistant in January, 2013 and has been here since.

Born and raised in southern Arizona, Mara lived in Kentucky for 10+ years. She a mother and loves it!
Medical Assistant certification in 2001 and my Limited Medical Radiography License 2013, she previously worked as a Pharmacy Technician for 5 years.
"As a little girl I always dreamt of being in the medical field. I strive everyday to make our patients feel safe, calm and informed about all their Podiatry needs."
Chrissy has been a member of Louisville Podiatry for a year. She grew up in Louisville and currently lives with her husband and lab mix Gretchen. She loves to cook, travel and attend sporting events.
